Low Noise, Clean DC power
Linear Power Supply (LPS) has been pursued by audio users / audiophiles as the choice of power source for powering their equipment, for obvious reason, we would show you why. SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply) is the choice for portable products, they are power efficient, small size for carry around, however when it is time to sit down, relax and have a clean powered setup for your CAS setup, LPS provide the best clean source.
These 2 pictures show the ripple output of MusicLinear and a typical SMPS for Notebook PC, they have a 4 time difference (apart from other spike noises found commonly in a SMPS) these ripple (noise) would impact the overall power cleanliness and therefore affect your listening enjoyment.
